What browsers does OTISS support?

OTISS supports Microsoft Windows® Internet Explorer version 9 or newer, Mozilla Firefox version 13 or newer, Google Chrome version 19 or newer, Apple Safari version 5.1 or newer.


Does my browser have to support cookies?

Yes, it does. OTISS requires that cookies be enabled in your browser.


Why do I see a warning when I use Microsoft Excel to open a file generated by OTISS?

When you open the exported Excel file generated by OTISS, you may get the following warning:

“The file you are trying to open, Summary.xls, is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file Do you want to open the file now? ”

This warning is caused by the HTML format of the XLS file generated by OTISS. Simply click YES, and the file should open without any problem.


I closed my browser without signing out, and then I couldn’t sign in. Is there a time-out period?

Yes, there is, but it applies only to a situation when you use different browsers. For instance, if you close Internet Explorer without signing out, and then you open Firefox and try to sign in, you’ll have to wait for 10 minutes.


Can I open OTISS in more than one tab within the same browser session?

Yes, you can use multiple tabs within the same browser session to work on a number of OTISS projects concurrently.

I hadn’t exported one of my projects before my subscription expired. Is there a way to retrieve this project?

We preserve the accounts of our customers even after their subscription expires. As soon as you renew your subscription and sign in, you’ll have access to all of your projects.


How do I change my password?

To change your password:

  1. Click Your Account on the navigation pane, and then click Change Password.
  2. Under Change Your Password, type your old password, type and confirm your new password, and then click Change.

How do I edit my contact information?

To edit your contact information:

  1. Click Your Account on the navigation pane, and then click Update Profile.
  2. Under Your Profile, change the profile information as necessary, and then click Save.

How do I renew my subscription?

To renew your subscription:

  1. Click Your Account on the navigation pane, and then click Purchase Online.
  2. Under Purchase Online, select the desired subscription renewal option, click Proceed to Checkout, and then follow the on-screen instruction.
